Hay Magpies hosted Darlington Point Coleambally (DPC) Roosters at Hay Park on Sunday, for the final Group 20 rugby league home game of the season.

It was a challenging trip to Solar Mad Stadium in Griffith for Hay Magpies who met Griffith Black and Whites on Sunday. Despite two losses in the round six clashes, a highlight of the day was the late-in-the-game try by talented rookie Karly Fisher.

Hay Magpies league tag side enjoyed a solid victory over the Hawks in the first match of the day. The side has welcomed junior players Karley Fisher and Larissa Sorensen into the senior squad and both handled the pressure of the senior competition with ease.

Hay Public School League Tag Team has qualified for the Mortimer Shield Riverina finals, to be held in Wagga next Term.

Hay Junior Magpies Under 7 and Under 9 League Tag teams had the sheer delight of coming up against the Senior Magpies League Tag in a fun match.
